Ubuntu…I’m going to learn Ubuntu
Welcome me back folks. BTW, here’s a cool little youtube video floating around now that uses the Matrix to make a commentary on Windows. Considering I just installed Ubuntu on my EEE PC, I thought it appropriate:
EDIT: Regarding the quality of this short, its terrific. Both funny and wonderfully thought out. I found myself laughing numerous times!

Hey Hammerjack. BTW, I forgot to mention, I owe Mr. Roboto dinner anywhere he wants whenever he sees this. I can’t believe how well he’s been keeping things going here while I’ve disapeared.

I’ve been thinking about doing the same for a while actually. Just gotta get myself an external HD to store all my stuff on when I switch.

This looks like a professional video. Takes way more than one day with crappy camera and your girlfriend as an actor.

Hi Soulmaster, if the professional video comment was in reaction to my “youtube video” comment, I certainly didn’t mean to imply this wasn’t professionally done - far to the contrary in fact. I absolutely agree that significant thought and effort went into this most excellent short.

That was my way of praising it. I also wonder what the guys from Microsoft think about this video and it’s creators. Lol, they must be feeling freakin’ mad.

Whatever Microsoft is feeling, they deserve it. But truly, as successful as Windows has been, its now up to an insanely bloated 50 million lines of code. It is nearing the end of its life cycle. There only needs something like Ubuntu to put it out of its misery in a few years. Or perhaps a re-envisioning of the purpose and use of computers.
