Sindome, is a online text-based multi player roleplaying game.

Sindome is a cyberpunk role-playing MOO that has been online since 1997.

It is still being developed, with new code being added by a dedicated group of coders. It is one of the more heavily developed MOO games still online. The game has a medium size player-base.

The dystopic themes from your favorite cyberpunk books, movies and games permeate our world like no other.

Your role in Sindome is one of an immigrant, a fresh face in a hardened city of glass and steel. As your character explores the city, they’ll make connections and relationships with other characters (some controlled by other players, some controlled by the game staff and some even on auto-pilot) and be thrust into the conflict of the ongoing class struggle between the corporate suits who have everything and the street scum who crave anything.

Here you will role play via an internet interface and write and read the story your character will live.

So no graphics…At all! These kind of games came fromt he old MUD (for Multi Users Dungeon) or MOO  systems back in the old days of Internet where there were only military and school sites 🙂

Text-based games controlled by Dungeon Masters (DM) are limitless in term of possibilities. No graphics means you need to use your imagination. You just have to describe the acts of your character and the DM wil anlswer you by playing different characters. You can build and destroy your environment and travel fast because it is a story!

In Syndome the world, where your character is living, evolves. So you have access to newsfeed in via the website and a fake news media : Withmore Globe – A division of the New Light Media Entertainment Group
