FITBIT FLEX A WIRELESS ACTIVITY AND SLEEP WRISTBAND Design The rubber wristband is lightweight, comfortable and the design is stark (Plastic guys not ‘’Iron’’ but you can have it red ;p). Fitbit Flex allows you to set a goal and uses LED lights to show how you’re stacking up. Each LED light represents 20% of your goal, and is only activated by double tapping the device. Flex offers a range of bands in a variety of colours with 2 different sizes One small (140 – 176 mm) One large (161 – 209 mm) In the box Colours A sensor will fit into the wristband. You can remove it to charge it. Actually the sensor needs to be charged every five days or so. Charge your Flex Both wristband and sensor are water resistant and that’s a good point! It means that you can train hard and sweat, run when it rains (Yeah people also train when it’s raining) and swim with it. (But no dive!) Monitor You can choose 3 categories to monitor: steps, calories, or distance. Flex comes with a mobile app that allows you to set goals and follow your progress through graphs and charts. The dashboard gives you access to your alarms and food plan also. Computer Dashboard Mobile Phone Dashboard Forget about keep it track about cycling or swimming with it. It’s not designed for. Even if the Fitbitflex will continue to record your movement it won’t be accurate. An ability to input other activities and measure different kinds of movements would be very nice in the future. To my opinion the fitbit program for food tracking is not so good. You can only choose from 3 international food types. Bye bye when it comes to a specific nutrition choice… But the company managed it well. Fitbit works with several popular health apps that let you export your Fitbit data. My Fitness Pal, Run Keeper, Lose It!…. Compete with other Shadowrunners Sometimes competition is good to keep up your motivation right? The Fitbit allows you to track your exercise against other Fitbit-wearing pals! And you have the traditional leader board to see scores. Sleep Flex never sleeps, even when you do. Continue to wear it all night and it’ll measure your sleep quality. Your dashboard will reveal how long you slept and the number of times you woke up to help you learn how to sleep more soundly. Silent Alarm Flex also has a silent wake alarm that vibrates to wake you at your desired time, without disturbing your partner. Sync Bluetooth 4.0 Flex automatically syncs your data to PCs, Macs, many iOS devices and select Android phones without plugging in or pushing buttons. Bluetooth 4.0 aka Bluetooth smart wireless syncing. No need to plug it into your phone or a computer to sync it.(but you can still plug it into your computer if your want).
