    Hi reset.Zed,

    Thanks for the comment.

What do you mean by “the background is a little distracting to the main (middle) section of the site.”
You mean the picture behind representing Japanese buildings ?
    What do you propose?

About the boxes that you can click on to direct to another link it is on purpose. Actually the site works on WordPress (Open source software for content management) and the “boxes” come from a specific theme (A way to “skin” your weblog).

I reckon and you’re right it is quite slow if you have an old computer/mobile phone or if you have a slow bandwidth because there are plenty of images. But this is the choice I made. I wanted more visual context.
Maybe we can accelerate the display but I have no clue about how to do that 🙂

On my mobile (Samsung Galaxy S4) I have no problem to display it and I reckon also that I’m living in a city who provides 4G.

    Welcome COUNT ZERO.

This site is new as you can see. First attempt to mix Sci Fi / Cyberpunk and a Webmagazine talking about our real world which is turning slowly but surely into a cyberpunk world… ;p

Regarding your skills if you wanna talk about PenTesting (and continue for example the articles I started (HACKING – CHAPTER xxx) and write for Active Wirehead you are welcome.

And we can switch in the Editorial Forum.

It is a multi author blog so..means gathering people around what we like 🙂

Nice to meet a fellow martial artist also. I’m practising Kali Majapahit
Single and Double Sticks and Knife (Defense) regarding weapons.
About guns, it was when I did my National Service in France and some shooting club. Cannot do that in Singapore ;p

    Hi,

I’m not a professional pentester. I’m more into Data.. As I know most of us have SIN (System Identification Number).
Every day we are using Technology which can be very convenient for us(credit card, Phone, internet, GPS…) but also very nice for other kind of people. Even when you didn’t use technology people did it for you to enter information about you.

    Your personal information

Everything from your shopping habits to your health history can be available to creditors, employers, landlords, insurers, law enforcement agencies, and, of course, hackers. All they need to do is tap into the public and private databases that gather, buy, and sell your vital statistics. They don’t even need to hack directly your computer to know more about you.

And I don’t talk about information we willingly put publicly on Internet via our preferred social media

But that’s OK. Yeah that’s OK. No need to fear THE SYSTEM.
Because it is more important to know what kind of processes are behind your simple daily actions. It makes you more aware of your actions and the consequences…

…Until you want/need/have to hack a system that is declared illegal wherever you live.
So if you are going to a Run, you need to know what are the risks. Only stupid booster-gangs run without paying attention about consequences.
So if you don’t want to go to jail or drew the ace of spades, i will give you the same advice that COUNT ZERO gave you :

    – stay safe, and don’t do anything stupid!

    Another one found on Youtube..

Where did Cyberpunk come from? And why do we as Geek culture relate to it so much? Taking a look at both the historical and literary contributions that created a sub-genre we’ve come to recognize and love so much.
