Ah yes, psychedelic drugs. Hallucinations, vivid colors, and drooling. Lots and lots of drooling. That’s been my experience with them anyway. Now recently I’ve been doing some research for my story that I’ve been writing about something that induces the brain into a drugged like state with the use of virtual reality headsets such as the Oculus Rift. Jolting! After some research and after one of my favorite authors posted about it on Tumblr, I came across the series Children of the Machine. Children of the Machine is a series produced by Rapid Eye Studios, created by Marco Weber and Jeff Stockwell, and distributed by BitTorrent and ‘ConTV. This particular video takes you on a fictional documentary trip with a girl named Keri, 22, who discovered jolting while getting a tattoo at an underground parlor. There’s been one other video with a 14 year old who gets chipped for the first time that’s on Rapid Eye Studios channel that you should check out as well. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to binge on coffee and stay up writing for the third night in a row. CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP.
